Overview:

For this project, my team and I were tasked with creating a brick and mortar retail concept. This process involved finding primary and secondary research, creating a unique brand identity, devising a full-scale marketing plan, and putting together all of the requisite financial documents. After everything was complete, we presented a 20 minute pitch on our restaurant.

Process:

First, we used the research and ideation process to establish our brand identity and mission as a new restaurant in College Park. Using customer journey maps and personas, we specified our target audience allowing us to further establish what we set out to accomplish.

My Contributions:

This project was a team effort and allowed each member of our team to collaborate in many areas. Some of my largest contributions came in the form of financial statements, architectural renderings, mapping out customer journey maps and personas, creating marketing materials for our launch, and creating our presentation hook. Other contributions were made in each other facet of this project.

Outcome:

As a result of our hard work, we were awarded with the Best Concept Award and came in second for the Most Convincing Pitch by a group of experienced judges. Our business plan and presentation are attached below.
